We will be holding our sixth annual "Help Solve the Puzzle: Walk for Autism Awareness" on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Gring's Mill Recreation Area.

Autism Awareness Month

During April 2008, The Autism Society of Berks County had seven billboards (with the artwork below) posted around Berks County in honor of Autism Awareness Month. We are also placed an ad in the Reading Eagle on Sunday, April 6th and again on Sunday, April 20th. The newspaper ad contained many facts about Autism. We hope to generate a greater awareness and understanding of autism so that individuals can be diagnosed early, receive appropriate treatment, and be met with patience and understanding in our community.
